You might be thinking "What on earth is this all about?". If you are, you have probably not yet been on a 2k+ event. Or perhaps you have done but had such a good time you can't remember! The 2k+ events were born back in the 20th century. 1999 to be precise. A group of friends decided that yet another New Year crammed into pubs spending the night queuing for expensive drinks and chatting to people you'd rather not see was not acceptable. Instead we decided we would spend New Year away from our home town of Witney with the people we want to catch up with. Over the years some of the faces have changed as have the venues but the idea remains: get away for a break, to spend time with friends and to catch up as we increasingly live further apart.
